Every manager who exists as a real card in eFootball — 73 of them — sorted into tiers. The badge under each portrait is their best Team Playstyle and the proficiency for it. The Playstyle List further down covers every manager in the game, card or not.

A tier is not a shopping list
Proficiency is per playstyle, so an SS manager is only SS for the playstyle they are good at. Conte is 90 for Quick Counter and 68 for Possession Game. Pick the playstyle first, then the manager — the sections below do that for you.
Playstyle List: best manager for every Team Playstyle
Proficiency is per Team Playstyle, so there is no single best manager — there is a best manager for the playstyle you run. Here is the full list, with the booster and Link-up Play each one brings. These rankings cover every manager in the game, including the few with no card art.
Overload is the Team Playstyle added in eFootball 2027, and the pool is almost empty: only 3 managers are above 80. If you want to run Overload, Frank Lampard is the answer.

How the tiers are decided
Tiers come from Team Playstyle Proficiency plus the two extras that decide a manager’s ceiling.
Tier
Requirement
SS
89+ proficiency with both a booster and a Link-up Play.
S
85+ proficiency.
A
80-84 proficiency.
B
75-79 proficiency.
Proficiency boosts each stat individually, not the overall rating, and a higher proficiency pulls far more of your squad’s stats into the +2 and +3 bands. The full mechanic is explained on the Manager Database.
Why some managers are missing
This list only covers managers who exist as a real card. The game’s data also holds roughly 1,600 generic club and national team managers with low proficiency; they are in the database, not here.
FAQ
Who is the best manager in eFootball?
There is no single answer, because proficiency is per Team Playstyle. Antonio Conte has the highest single proficiency in the game at 90, but only for Quick Counter.
How many SS managers are there?
25. SS needs 89+ proficiency plus a booster plus a Link-up Play, and very few managers have all three.
Is a higher tier always better?
No. A manager one tier down with 89 proficiency for the playstyle you actually run beats an SS manager who is strong at something else. Use the Playstyle List above.
Do I need the newest manager?
Not necessarily. Several older cards sit at the same proficiency as their newer versions; what usually changes is the booster and the Link-up Play.
